Our Mission
This is a place we gather together in quality praise and worship of the true and living God, equipped with the word of God for growth and fellowship with one another in covenant relationship and released to make a formidable impact in our world for the Kingdom.
Our Story
We live in very interesting times, our role as the Church becomes even more apparent in the face of uncertainties, insecurities, fear and anxiety.
It is a time when we preach hope and restoration, and when we come alongside those who are in their time of greatest need. It is also an incredible opportunity for people to come to know Jesus and His offer of salvation to anyone who chooses to believe.
Together with a fabulous team of Trustees and amazing volunteers, we welcome everyone into our TREM Marks Gate Family
Our Pastors
The pastors of TREM Marks Gate, Rev’ds Abiodun and Olayemi Adesanya, have faithfully served in the ministry of TREM for over a decade, demonstrating unwavering commitment to God’s call and the spiritual growth of His people.
Rev’d Abiodun Adesanya is a devoted teacher of God’s Word and a passionate leader with a heart for discipleship and church growth. His ministry is marked by humility, integrity, and a deep desire to see lives transformed through the Gospel.
Rev’d Olayemi Adesanya serves alongside him with grace and compassion, playing a vital role in mentoring, encouraging, and supporting members of the church family. She is especially passionate about strengthening families and nurturing spiritual growth.
Together, they provide dedicated leadership to TREM Marks Gate, faithfully advancing the church’s vision and impacting lives for Christ.
Our Structure
TREM Marks Gate operates with a clear leadership and ministry structure designed to support effective spiritual oversight, administration, and ministry development.
At the top of the structure is the Resident Pastor, who provides overall spiritual leadership, vision, and direction for the church. Supporting the Resident Pastor are the Assistant Pastors, who help in pastoral duties, teaching, and shepherding the congregation.
Beneath them is the Executive Coordinator, who oversees the day-to-day administrative coordination of church ministries and ensures that different departments work together effectively.
Reporting to the Executive Coordinator are several ministry Directors, each responsible for a specific area of church life:
- Director of Worship – oversees the worship ministry and music team.
- Director of Young People – leads youth ministries.
- Director of Women and Children – coordinates programs for women (which includes young women) and children.
- Director of Men – oversees men’s and young men’s ministry.
- Director of Membership & Maturity – focuses on member integration, spiritual growth, and discipleship.
- Director of Finance – manages financial stewardship, budgeting, and accountability.
- Director of Technical & Media – supervises media, sound, and technical operations.
At the operational level are the Group and Ministry Leaders, who lead various small groups and ministry teams within the church. They work under the direction of the leadership structure to implement programs and support the spiritual growth of members.
This structure enables TREM Marks Gate to maintain strong pastoral leadership while ensuring that ministries are well-organized, collaborative, and focused on serving the congregation and community effectively.

Our Core Values
Learn more about our values and our story as a church by visiting the about us page.
Integrity
Our core belief when it comes to integrity stems from the truism that whatever the Word of God cannot give you, it either doesn’t exist, or you don’t need it.
Our word-driven lifestyle helps us live a life of integrity, even behind closed doors. This has been a core emphasis to us as a Ministry in all we do, say and demonstrate.
Accountability
This is the state of being responsible for something or obligated to answer to someone. As TREMites, we are first accountable to God, secondly to spiritual authority in the Ministry, then to ourselves.
Accountability to God requires us to develop a personal relationship with God irrespective of congregational stands. We understand that until you are led you cannot lead. This is what gives us personal victories before public ones.
We are also enjoined to be accountable to the leaders in ministry God has set above us. We believe in divine order and where this is practiced, there will always be increase and God’s blessings.
Lastly, we should be accountable to ourselves as our brothers’ keepers, strengthening ourselves when the need arises and making sure no one is left behind in this move of God.
Spiritual fervency
In the words of our Father and the Presiding Bishop, Dr. Mike Okonkwo, “A fly cannot perch on a hot pot”; as a Ministry, we emphasize spiritual fervency through prayers, worship and studying of the Word. We believe we cannot live out our vision and mission, without this value, which we hold dearly as a people.
The TREM MARKS GATE LEADERSHIP:
Our Visionary Team of spiritual leaders collaborates to prayerfully shape and guide the vision and overall direction of our Found Faith.
