Main Texts: Jeremiah 30:16–17, Mark 14:3–9, 1 Samuel 24:3–11

Opening Worship Charge

Father, we thank You.
Our gathering this morning is all about You.
Our worship is all about You.

👉 We have come back to the heart of worship
👉 We have come back to the place where we cannot be denied
👉 We have come into the presence of the Most High

Even if music fades…
Even if everything is stripped away…

👉 You remain the same

Thank You for:

  • The gift of life
  • The privilege to gather
  • The release of Your Word and power

Prophetic Scripture Declaration

📖 Jeremiah 30:16–17

Key Prophetic Word:

  • Those who devour you → shall be devoured
  • Your enemies → shall go into captivity
  • Your attackers → shall be attacked

👉 “I will restore your health and heal your wounds,” says the Lord

Prophetic Emphasis:

👉 God says:

  • “I will cure the incurable”
  • “They called you an outcast, but I will restore you”

  • Lord, let there be performance of Your Word

👉 Honour is a kingdom principle

  • Giving is a principle
  • Gratitude is a principle
  • But honour is foundational

Definition of Honour

👉 Honour means:

  • Value
  • Respect
  • Recognition

Key Truth About Honour

👉 Honour is optional, but:

  • When practised → it brings great gain
  • When ignored → it can limit destiny

Case Study 1: The Woman with the Alabaster Box

📖 Mark 14:3–9

  • She poured out something precious
  • Others called it waste
  • Jesus called it honour

Result of Honour:

👉 Her story is still being preached today

Insight:

👉 Honour speaks beyond your lifetime

Case Study 2: David and Saul

📖 1 Samuel 24:3–11

Situation:

  • Saul wanted to kill David
  • David had the opportunity to kill Saul

But David chose honour:

  • He refused to harm him
  • He restrained others
  • He bowed before him

Key Statement:

👉 “I will not touch the Lord’s anointed”

Deep Revelation:

👉 David was not honouring Saul’s behaviour
👉 He was honouring God’s anointing on him

Result:

  • David lived long
  • David became king
  • David preserved his destiny

Key Principle

👉 Honour protects destiny

👉 Dishonour can destroy opportunity

Warning from Jesus

👉 Jesus could not do many miracles in His hometown

Why?

👉 Lack of honour

Principle:

👉 What you do not honour, you cannot receive from

Benefits of Honour

Honour will:

  • Promote you
  • Preserve your life
  • Open doors
  • Attract favour
  • Bring recognition
  • Establish your destiny

Case Study 3: The Shunammite Woman

📖 2 Kings 4

What she did:

  • Honoured the man of God
  • Provided a room
  • Served without expectation

Result:

  • Received a miracle child
  • When the child died → it was restored

Insight:

👉 Honour can restore what is dead

Who Must We Honour?

1. Honour God

📖 Malachi 1:6

👉 “If I am a Father, where is my honour?”

Ways to Honour God:

  • With your substance
  • With your service
  • With your reverence

Warning:

👉 Giving God what is left over = dishonour

2. Honour Your Parents

📖 Exodus 20:12
📖 Ephesians 6:2–3

👉 This is a command with a promise

Result:

  • Long life
  • It shall be well with you

Strong Instruction:

👉 There is no condition attached
👉 You honour them regardless

Practical Honour:

  • Greet them properly
  • Care for them
  • Give to them
  • Speak respectfully

3. Honour Spiritual Authority (Pastors)

📖 1 Corinthians 9:11
📖 Matthew 10:41

How to Honour:

  • Pray for them
  • Support them
  • Encourage them
  • Receive their word

Result:

👉 You receive prophet’s reward:

  • Covering
  • Direction
  • Spiritual strength

4. Honour Those Ahead of You

👉 Anyone older or ahead of you

Practical Examples:

  • Greet elders
  • Show respect
  • Serve willingly

Revelation:

👉 When you honour longevity → you attract it

Case Study 4: Ruth

  • Ruth honoured Naomi
  • Even in emptiness

Result:

  • Entered divine alignment
  • Married into royalty
  • Became part of Christ’s lineage

Insight:

👉 Honour can rewrite your destiny

Deep Kingdom Truths

  • Honour attracts what you need
  • Honour gives access you cannot buy
  • Honour positions you for favour

Final Charge

Beloved:

👉 Honour is not culture—it is kingdom
👉 Honour is not optional—it is strategic

Prophetic Declarations

👉 As you walk in honour, grace will speak for you
