1. The Power of the Church’s Prayer

Text: Acts 12:1–5

1.1 The Reality of Opposition

• King Herod persecuted the church.
• James was killed with the sword.
• When Herod saw it pleased the people, he arrested Peter.

1.2 The Impossible Situation

• Peter was imprisoned.
• Guarded by 16 soldiers.
• Locked behind multiple prison gates.
• Humanly speaking, escape was impossible.

1.3 The Turning Point

Acts 12:5 – “But the church prayed earnestly.”

Key lesson:

• When the church prays, God intervenes.
• Prayer can reverse what the enemy has planned.

Declaration

• There comes a time when believers must declare:
  “Enough is enough.”

2. Declaring “Enough Is Enough”

Sometimes the enemy begins attacks when blessings are close.

Possible attacks:

• Afflicted homes
• Afflicted finances
• Afflicted health
• Afflicted work

What the believer must do

Use spiritual authority.

Declare:

• No more affliction
• No more destruction
• No more evil reports
• The enemy will proceed no further

Proverbs 18:21 Principle:
There is power in the tongue.

3. The God of Restoration

Even when things seem lost, God restores.

Joel 2:25 Principle

God restores:

• The years lost
• The opportunities lost
• The blessings stolen

Restoration Includes

• Health
• Finances
• Relationships
• Opportunities
• Destiny

Prayer Focus

Demand restoration in faith.

4. Understanding Who Your Father Is

Theme Scripture: Genesis 35:11

God revealed Himself as El Shaddai.

Meaning of El Shaddai

• The Almighty God
• The All-Sufficient God
• The God who lacks nothing

Because He is El Shaddai:

• He can supply every need.
• Nothing is impossible for Him.

Prophetic Promise

“Be fruitful and multiply.”

Fruitfulness is not only about children but also:

• Business
• Career
• Influence
• Ministry
• Impact

5. The Covenant Blessing of Believers

Genesis 12:2–3

God’s covenant promises include:

5.1 You Will Be Blessed

God Himself commits to bless you.

5.2 You Will Be Great

God makes believers into great nations.

5.3 You Will Be a Blessing

Your life will benefit others.

5.4 Divine Protection

• Whoever blesses you will be blessed.
• Whoever opposes you will face consequences.

Key truth:
A believer cannot be cursed because God’s covenant speaks for them.

6. Moving from Shallow Waters to Deep Waters

Luke 5:1–7

Peter and his partners fished all night and caught nothing.

6.1 The Limitation of Human Effort

They tried everything:

• Experience
• Skill
• Hard work

Yet they caught nothing.

6.2 Jesus’ Instruction

“Launch out into the deep.”

Sometimes believers remain in shallow waters because of:

• Fear
• Limited thinking
• Small expectations

God calls us to:

• Bigger vision
• Greater faith
• Deeper obedience

7. Faith Requires Action

Peter said:

“Master, we have toiled all night… but at Your word.”

Faith is obeying even when results seem impossible.

Result of Obedience

• Nets filled with fish
• Nets began to tear
• Boats almost sank
• Partners were called for help

Lesson

When God blesses you:

• The blessing will overflow.
• Others around you will benefit.

8. Believers Must Understand Their Inheritance

Many believers fail not because God has not provided, but because they do not understand their inheritance.

Example:
In business, once a bid is approved, the money is guaranteed.

Similarly:

• God has already approved many blessings for believers.
• Some blessings expire because believers never act in faith.

Danger

Unclaimed blessings.

Challenge

Do not let heaven record “non-performance.”

9. Nothing Is Too Hard for God

Jeremiah 32:27

“I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?”

Questions for believers:

• Is your situation too hard for God?
• Is your problem too big for Him?

Answer:
Nothing is impossible with God.

10. The Power of Confession

What you declare shapes your reality.

Believers must boldly declare:

• I am blessed.
• I cannot fail.
• I am the head and not the tail.
• Heaven over me is open.
• I carry divine power.
• I am a blessing to others.

Principle:
Say it → Believe it → Become it.

11. Living with the Consciousness of Sonship

If God is your Father:

• You cannot live in lack.
• You cannot live defeated.
• You cannot live without access.

Example:
Children of leaders have access to places others cannot enter.

Likewise:
Believers have access to:

• God’s provision
• God’s protection
• God’s power

12. The Role of Faith in the Communion

The communion represents covenant.

Through the blood of Jesus:

• Promises are sealed.
• Blessings are activated.
• Victory is guaranteed.

When believers partake:

• They receive power.
• They renew the covenant.
• They affirm God’s promises.

• El Shaddai is my Father.

• My testimony will manifest this season.
